Original Michael Jackson Billie Jean Glove on Auction

original michael jackson glove

Michael Jackson had a whole bunch of rhinestone gloves, around a 100, that he wore at different occasions and events, but there's only one that quite different!
A white leather, left hand glove that was hand sewn with crystals just moments before an historic performance; the original glittery glove that Michael Jackson wore on the night of "Motown 25" special in 1983, during which Michael performed his famous Moonwalk for the first time.
This unique Michael Jackson memorabilia is going to go under the hammer in a Music Icons auction event at the Hard Rock Café in New York's Times Square, sometime in November.

The glove was given to The Commodores member Walter "Clyde" Orange by Michael himself back on the night of "Motown 25".
Orange felt that it was too valuable to be kept in hiding and should be shared with the world.
He hopes it will be bought off by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or another historical institution.

The glove which may be considered the 'Holy Grail' of Michael Jackson memorabilia, is expected to fetch around $60,000.
There are other MJ stuff also up for auction like a fedora hat worn by Michael in his performance at the 1995 MTV Music Awards, zombie costumes from the Thriller video, a stage-worn costume from Jackson’s final United States concert in April of 2002, Michael Jackson’s stage worn “Bad” jacket signed by Michael Jackson and three original paintings drawn by Michael himself.

RIP Michael Jackson, and I just wish that people wouldn't get his stuff on auction. Why don't they just give it to his children, to remember him or learn what he has done over the years. Oh well, who ever got that glove better take care of it!
