Vanity Fair is going to print two different September issues, that will hit newsstands on August 11th.
One will feature Michael Jackson on the cover and the other will feature Farrah Fawcett on the cover.

Why go through all the trouble of two different covers and a slightly different content? Well, the logical explanation was given to the New York Daily News by Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter: "Two covers seemed like the sensible thing to do, given the passing of two major American icons on the same day."

The Jackson issue will include notes complied by Lisa Robinson from numerous interviews with the late singer. Jackson talked about the impact of fame on his family life and love life.

The Fawcett issue will include an interview with Ryan O’Neal, along with many of Farrah’s close friends.
