Taking time off her busy schedule, Angelina Jolie went on a mission to The Middle East.
Jolie went to Iraq to pay a visit to refugee and the troops as well.
Jolie is also taking part in the annual Arab Children’s Congress in Amman, Jordan and has taken Maddox along for the trip as well.

In Iraq and part of her duty as a UN ambassador, Jolie visited US troops and spent time at a camp for refugees in Baghdad.
She told one man: "It takes a lot of strength for you to survive this life. I don't know if I would be strong enough to survive this."
This is Jolie's third visit to the war stricken country.

In Amman, Jolie was the guest of honor at the congress, which kicked off on July 21st.
She'll also be honored the Arab Children's Congress for her philanthropic and humanitarian efforts.
It's been reported that she'll be staying with HRH Queen Noor, who founded the Children's congress 24 years ago.
