I was Wrong, Michael Jackson's Kids Were Happy

michael jackson and his kids

Two years ago, I gave myself permission to write an article about Michael Jackson and his kids. I questioned the way he chooses to treat his kids and I even went on to analyze the look in the kids' eyes ... I want to apologize for that specific article.
I actually had no right to start judging Michael and his parenting choices.

How he dresses his kids in public was his business and I wasn't smart enough then to realize that he may have his reasons for making them wear masks or covering their faces with scarves.
Although those typed words are out there, but I take them back. My apology comes late, but I have to get this off my chest.
I realize now I was mistaken to call the kids 'sad' and I had no way of knowing that 'their eyes are sad'.
I also had no way of knowing that they 'surely aren't living a natural childhood'.

I guess making them wear scarves and masks in public, would actually mask their identity from the paparazzi and the public! Which means that if they were to go out, go to school, go to the supermarket, take a walk in the street, without those masks on, no one would actually know that those kids are Michael Jackson's.
I admit that it was a smart move from Michael, and it's no where near a 'silly' idea.
So, those kids actually lived a natural childhood and were able to be out in public without anyone noticing them.

It is now, after their father's passing away, that they'll start getting the paparazzi's attention and will surely come under heavy attacks with camera lenses and eye-blinding flashing camera flashes.
It is now, without the protection and love of their father, that they'll have to struggle to live a normal childhood.
I pray for those kids and I hope that they'll be surrounded by nothing but love and compassion and warmth from their grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Again ... I apologize ...

Check my previous article entitled 'Michael Jackson's Kids are Sad!' and I guess you'll know why I decided to post an apology.

I'm glad you have reconsidered and apologized. That is all anyone can do when they realise they have maligned someone. God bless Michael's children, him, you and all those suffering in some way unknown by most of the world. x

It is so refreshing reading something like this. Not many people are willing to admit to their mistakes. I never thought his kids looked sad. The opposite, actually. They seemed very happy to me. Clearly these kids felt loved and protected by their dad. Sadly, Michael was a deeply troubled man. Simply far too sensitive and fragile for this world. Looking at this daughter, I very much get the impression that she knew these things about her dad. It seems that she in particular had a very close bond with him. Hopefully the paparazzi will leave his kids alone.

That is very commendable what you have done. There is a blessing for you my friend. NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE had the right to cast judgments upon Michael. He was a very shy, God loving man and DID NOT abuse children in a sexual way. I know this is true. That's all I will say.

You have done a great thing!

NO MATTER what claims are made in the future the undeniable fact is that he brought happiness to the world more than you or I, he had an outstanding musical gift and that he did help a lot of people in his life. Whatever people claim in the future need sto be seriously reseached before it is believed, just ont forget that. People will be looking to cash in on his death as they did in his life. AS FO THIS ARTICLE.. better late then never.. and i am grateful that one person has ssen the error of their ways and had the heart and strength to publicly apologise when many people who should do the same will not. So it is appreciated.

pfft. the only reason your writing an apology is because he is dead.

you wouldnt have done this if he was alive.
all you media people who wrote crap about him is the reason why he is no longer here with us.

It is refreshing to hear an apology. We all make mistakes but far to few time do we hear an apology from any one.
I use to question why he kept them covered but after seeing the world lose their mind after seeing all of these pictures, I understand why he would not allow any one to see them. I have read so many nasty comments directed at Michael's kids that it's sad. What ever people think about Michael, these kids are innocent-they did nothing wrong. They do not deserve the amount of hatred people are throwing at them. People are just so hateful that it's scary.
I believe Michael took excellent care of his kids. I believe they where his world. They wanted for nothing. I pray someone continue to care for them in the same manner that Michael cared for them. My heart breaks for them.

    hanan :

I kind of agree with yu in sum stuff the fact that he is going to hell yeah, but i never actually listened to any of his music or movies or anything before he died because i thought he was too old to sing, but then i found out he kinda stopped singing wen he got older, after he died i started to watch the insider a couple of days, then i started to listen 2 a couple of songs and i actually lyked them, i never expected that would happen.

And btw you fans there, u don't need to love mj or obsessed cuz u have to know that Michael Jackson doesn't knw that yu guyz lyked him, lyk all those people who committed suicide for him cuz he doesn't know you like him or even exist, even if he was alive, he wouldn't do anything- none of the singers or actors would do something if that happened.....

I thought you finally got the point, and I guess you didn't. YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST IGNORANT, THICK-HEADED PEOPLE I'VE EVER READ COMMENTS BY!

GET IT IN YOUR HEAD: it's not his fault he was on drugs! Besides the disease he had, he also had that incident with fire burning his scalp.
sorry to say this but: I HOPE YOU GET A DISEASE LIKE THAT AND YOUR SCALP BURNS so you know what it would feel like, and let's see if you can live without drugs.

What kind of a Muslim are you? You are saying he is a shame to Muslims? you are a shame to HUMAN BEINGS.

Where is the humanity? you are smack-talking a dead person! and not only that, but you are implying things that aren't true!

Think about it: why would a man with three wonderful kids CHOSE to be addicted to drugs?

Not everything said by the media is true. He is no rapist, his kids loved him, and you are jealous because he is an icon, and he gets attention you will NEVER get when you die being the person you are.

    Have a good day.

Wow The frenzy over MJ body is PROOF of how *degraded* annd hard up culture is. So he wrote snappy tunes and perfected three or four dance moves really really tight. GEt a GRIP. That is not all that hard to do. The hypocrisy makes me sick. and it shows how shallow and gross people have become.

What about all the really great artists who are not all twisted end demented? he was a perfrome3r a clown, and maybe unusual.

Sick culture, sick media, sick parasites and hypocrites crawling all over the shame and controversy he created
