Today, June 20th, is World Refugee Day.
Today we should remember those unfortunate people who have lost their homes and their countries to become fragile wanderers hoping to find stability and security one day.
Today, we should thank the heaves for the blessings we've got.
Angelina Jolie, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency, celebrated World Refugee Day in an event held in Washington D.C. on Thursday.
During the event, Jolie along with the rest of the audience, was visibly moved as they heard first hand stories from refugees who have been relocated to the US.
Jolie is always emotional when it comes to refugees, she choked up as she said of the refugees: "Most of all they are survivors ... They are the most impressive people I have ever met".
Not only does Jolie speak in the name of refugees, she and beau Brad Pitt try to lend a helping hand as well.
The super couple donated $1 million through the Jolie-Pitt Foundation to help displaced people in Pakistan, where more than 2 million people are currently displaced.
That's fabulous =) I'm so glad that there's such a day!!! And I'm hoping that maybe somebody had donated money to help the Palestinian refugees also....Allah ma3hom =)
