Celebrities have their personal stylists, right? So, how come there are still a lot of them that end up in the fashion disaster list? The latest to get a raving review on fashion disaster is Tilda Swinton. Just look at her in this dress!

I came across a report that said: "She is the perfect personification of an ice lolly". On the dot! Sure it’s a Christian Lacroix creation but, it really doesn’t look good on her. Maybe, if she wore it in other occasion and not at the 34th Cesar Film Awards 2009 it’ll get a more positive reception, or maybe not!
Tilda Swinton has been tagged as an actress who can carry off any style but, I don’t think she’ll pass this time. She really has gone too far with this blue, black, green, red, and blue striped ice lolly dress.
Even an onlooker at the Cesar Film Awards in Paris found her whole get-up hideous. One onlooker couldn’t contain himself from saying, “She looked more like a Zoom lolly than a glamorous actress.” Ouch!

Tilda Swinton has always been avante garde and epitomizes runway to red carpet transitions. I've seen her in worse so it does not surprise me. When I first saw her I just wanted to even out her hair and get her into a fabulous Elie Saab red carpet creation, but now I respect that she does not look like everyone else. Angelina Jolie gets away with wearing the same style dress to the Critic Choice Awards, the SAGs, and the Golden Globes just because she blended in. Personally, I would rather see a fashion disaster who tries to be different rather than see someone play it safe for 50 award ceremonies.

She has her own style she looked fab at the Oscars. She's not a fan of revealing all in her dress and doesn't seem to have plastic surgery. In a world of blandness and conformity she stands out. So good for her she's comfortable being herself. How many stars can say that? More importantly she is an excellent actress.
YIKES but then again yeah Kudos on her She doesn't look like a CLONE but she does look a little like a clown. BUT YAY for her that she doesn't follow like the other mannequin posers.
Tilda Swinton is indeed avant-gardist for her 49 years old. Class A designers love her style and audience with poor fashion knowledge don't understand it. She is a fashion icon.
