I actually wanted to write about the engagement of actor Paul Walker and ended up rebuking that news and stating that he's NOT engaged, thus, he's not off the market!

News came out that Paul Walker had popped the question to his girlfriend of 3 years, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, and they're officially engaged!
But it turns out that news is no more than a rumor.
They are still together and they are very much in love, but they're not engaged!
Have you registered that? They're NOT engaged!
As for the girlfriend, Jasmine, she's a 19-year-old student at University of California in Santa Barbara.
Yes, she's 19 and Paul is 35! The age difference is huge, but they don't seem to care, so why should we?
In all cases, some have criticized the way Jasmine dresses, and i -on the other hand- want to cheer her for her hippie-esque style and cool indifference to the trends! She's cute too!

California - The age of consent in California is 18. It is illegal for anyone to engage in sexual intercourse with a minor (someone under the age of 18), unless they are that person's spouse. California employs a tiered system where the greater the difference in age, the greater the penalty. If the person engaging in sex with a minor is less than 3 years older or younger than the minor, then they are guilty of a misdemeanor. If they are more than 3 years older than the minor then they are guilty of a felony. Those over the age of 21 engaging in sex with those under 16 are subjected to more harsh penalties
Mr. Walker better be veeeery careful about what he says regarding his relationship with this girl. And the fact that a magazine is publishing that a 35 year old man engaged in sex with a minor, which is considered a felony, is a pretty serious deal.
