Nominations for the Oscars have been announced this morning and some nominees are not a surprise!
Names like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sean Penn and Kate Winslet were expected to be among the nominees.

Competing for the Oscar for Best Actor are Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Richard Jenkins and Frank Langella.
As for the women competing for an Oscar for Best Actress, they are Angelina Jolie, Kate Winlset, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Melissa Leo.

The Best Picture nominees are also very familiar this Award season, they are The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader and Slumdog Millionaire.

Actually, the most nods went to Benjamin Button with a whopping 13 nominations, followed by Slumdog Millionaire with 10.

The biggest night in Hollywood will be hosted by Hugh Jackman and will broadcast from the Hollywood's Kodak Theater on February 22nd.
