In a few days time, the big day will come and Obama will officially become The President of The United States.
The inauguration ceremony, which will be held on January 20th and will see many performances from a group of very famous stars like Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder.
The ceremony, which will be held in the shadow of the Lincoln Memorial, will also include historical passages read by Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III and Denzel Washington.
It's going to be a cold day, but our hearts will be warm as we watch the first black American become the president.

As for Barack Obama:
I think he deserves a chance. I mean he s not even in office and in the Arab world you read and hear only "this is Obama s beginning present to israel". How do they know?
Obviously Israel has never cared about what the world thinks, plus BEFORE Obama is in office he can do nothing to stop them. Plus around Christmas, Western leaders are not in office but home. So they picked the time where the West was inactive. So why blame Obama and not see it is a planned strategy to do something quick as long as no one CAN act in the West by Israel?
As for his views:
Yes, he has said he supports Israel. You know why? because today s Americans see brutal masked Hamas men with hight tech weapons speaking the most inhumane words how they will slaughter Jews. So today s Americans see the "civilized" polite Israelis, the masked killers to be. They think "the poor Jews, persecuted again".
The fight for justice needs to be an intellectual in the first place.
Americans do not know why Israel is there, it is there.
Lets ask them questions (and not spread hate and racism, as you do Ali, although I understand your motives):
Questions like "why is the Jewish state in the place it is in today? why was it founded? the Holocaust? who did the Holocaust? The Palestinians? Oh really, it was the Germans? so why did not Germany give territory, but the Palestinians, who were not a party to the World War? Who did not slaughter Jews in Europe?
How come for the first time in history a people not involved in a war at all (not even as part of a losing colonialist power) lose half of their territory?
How come Jews migrated to Palestine in the late 19th century, and in masses in the 1930s and 40s when countries like UK; US, Switzerland had closed the borders for refugees? How come the Jews migrating to Palestine at first spoke Arabic? So it clearly was an Arab land? It was also during the crusades? It has been in Arab propriety in fact for 1500 years at least?
Well how come the immigrants to the Arab country of Palestine thought they could construct their state on this territory as a compensation for the Holocaust? is that just? Why not see the massive anger a people deprived of its land feels in this situation?
Would the US citizens want to give their territory if Japan slaughtered Chinese in masses, and Chinese migrated to the US? Would they not try and fight them off for decades (as the Americans have done with Mexicans in their own history, for example)?"
These questions in a reasonable manner need to be asked.

European public opinion has changed considerably. Newspaper online forums are stuffed with comments on "why do Palestinians pay for Nazi crimes with their land"? People have started to understand here.
The only backlash is Djihadist terror. People who see mass murders happen in London, Madrid, and maybe some time in the future in their own country will start thinking "we are bombed by those terrorists, actually the Israelis are like us, only victims".
But I have made the experience if you simply ask them and let them argue WHY is it you support Israel? why was it justified to strip the Palestinians of their land after the war? they start to understand.

you try and put an intellectual spin on your argument but you do not know the history of the region. Without going to far back lets start with the fact that the Palestinians have NEVER had their own country in history, I said NEVER. You can check that all you want. The Ottomans controlled the middle east for about 900 years with Christians, Muslims and Jews all living in what is today Israel. After WWI the British took over until they offered a 2 State solution in 1947 to both the Palestinian people and the Jewish people. Jerusalem was to be a split Capital. The Jewish people accepted this while the Palestinians rejected this and attacked Israel along with 5 other Middle East countries. Israel won.. Also Gaza and the West Bank where part of Egypt and Jordan respectively until 1967 and Egypt and Jordan did nothing for their own "brothers" in terms of giving them a country, or helping them at all. As a matter of fact check out Jordan and "Black September" to see how the Jordanians have "helped" their Palestinian brothers.

If Hamas wants to continue to bomb Israel this is what they will bring upon their people. No country in the world would allow their sovereign nation to have over 3000 rockets shot at them in a 2 year time period and not respond. There has not been 1 Israeli in Gaza since they pulled out in 2006 and instead of Hamas building a better life for the civilians of Gaza they tried to bring violence and terror to the people of Israel. These are facts. Again, tell Hamas Israel is here to stay and a 2 state solution is the only answer!!
