Biggest Golden Globe Winners: Kate Winslet and Slumdog Millionaire

The biggest winners of last night's 2009 Golden Globes were Kate Winslet and Slumdog Millionaire.
Kate took home two Globes, for both Revolutionary Road and The Reader.
Kate beat four big names to the award for Best Actress; Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and Kristin Scott Thomas!
She also beat Amy Adams, Penélope Cruz, Viola Davis and Marisa Tomei to the Best Supporting Actress award! Not bad at all!

As for the movie that smashed all hope for a globe for the other movie nominees, is Slumdog Millionaire!
The story of an Indian boy whose life starts after he wins a whole lot of cash in the Indian version of the competition show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, won four Globes for Best dramatic picture, Best director, Best original score and Best screenplay.

Other big winners include the movie The Wrestler, which won two nods; Best actor for Mickey Rourke and Best Original Song; The Wrestler; music and lyrics by Bruce Springsteen.

On the other hand, in the TV categories, the big winners were John Adams, with four globes and 30 Rock with three Globes.
