Because I'm a new fan of Country singer Trace Adkins, i just got around to listening to his song 'You're Gonna Miss This'. For that matter, I wish i had known him long ago, i missed out on a lot!
In all cases, this song is a must-listen-to, not because of the tune -which is great, by the way- but because of the lyrics!

The lyrics are a wake up call to every single person, a reminder that each minute that goes by ain't coming back and we won't realize that until later, when it's too late.
We're going to miss even the simplest of things we do with our loved ones; that one time you cooked dinner with your mom, the pillow fight you had with your big brother and the shopping trip you took with your best friend.

These things may seem ordinary and so 'everyday' that you don't even think you'll ever gonna think twice about them, but there will come a time when you're old, your mom is up in heaven, your brother is half way across the globe and you're best friend is too busy for you with her job and kids.
That's when you'll miss all those simple pleasures.
