Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have sat down for an interview with NY Times Style Magazine 'T' and it's very interesting to read what they've said because afterwards (as usual) you'd get all those theories about whether they're truthful or playing a role or just trained to say what they have to say! Just wondering! Because there are some lines that sound as if they're right out of a low budget movie! Sorry!
They've also sat for a screen test with T's Lynn Hirschberg and boy is it shocking to watch Katie!
Why? Because you can clearly see that Katie is morphing into Tom Cruise! She talks just like him! It's as if Tom is disguised as Katie! Really! I'm not exaggerating!
Don't get me wrong, i like both Katie and Tom, but why do i get the feeling that her character, her own personality is seeping away?!
True! It's Tom who's changed Katie into a strange-ling! He's erased her identity! He's a control freak!
These pictures give me the heebie jeeebeez. Don't they look like they're from a nightmare picture? The first one of Katie is almost good until you look and she looks like something from Night of the Living Dead is lurking. I've always liked B & W photography old Hollywood style. They copied the lighting and poses okay but don't have the fine features that classic actors had. They are more like slick marketing executives and it comes across really foney. That middle picture of her looks like she's pulling her face and eyes down...but they really go like that. You're right it's a low budget movie because they don't have the talent to back up their executive hype power. These photos look like critters not stars.! :P Where is the sparkly Katie gone? Tom does NOT have a profile to do that kind of picture, sorry. Rant over.
