The list of winners at the 2008 American Music Awards is huge!
The biggest winner of the night is Chris Brown with three awards, one of which is Artist of The Year!
Kanye West comes in second, with two trophies; male rap/hip-hop artist and rap/hip-hop album.
Also a big winner like Kanye is Alicia Keys, who also took home two trophies! She won two awards for her As I Am album, winning for both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories.
Just as big as Kanye and Alicia is Rihanna! She took home two awards for pop/rock female artist and female soul R&B artist. Wow!
The Jonas Brothers took home Breakthrough Artists of the year award, beating the bubbly Colbie Caillat to it!

Carrie Underwood won country album for her album Carnival Ride, while Taylor Swift won female country artist. also in the Country music category, Rascal Flatts won country band, and Brad Paisley won male country artist. Ouch! Kenny Chesney must have taken that in the heart!
