If things were a tad bit different, the reports of Michael Jackson becoming Muslim would have been a bundle of hot air and no more than silly rumors! But ... because Jacko has a brother who has converted to Islam a while ago, these reports have a different ring to them!
The Sun has it that Michael has indeed converted to Islam and there was an imam present to witness Michael's conversion!
The Sun also claims that Jacko has changed his name from Michael to Mikaeel, in an intimate ceremony at a friends house where Cat Stevens aka Yousef Islam was present!
It is said that Jacko rejected an alternative name, Mustafa meaning "the chosen one".
How much would this report rate on the truth-o-meter?
I am not sure! Cause we've heard this rumor before!
