What happened when George Clooney's character Dr. Doug Ross left the show? I stopped watching! The series even seemed to get a bit boring to me!
Well, now that the show is coming to an end and the final episode of the final season is in the horizon, Dr. Doug is making a comeback! Don't get too excited though, it's just for the final episode ... so it's more like George Clooney is making a special appearance to bid ER farewell.

In an interview yet to be published on TV Guide, Noah Wyle (Dr. John Carter) reveals that Clooney is going to be in the final episode: "From what I heard, George said, 'absolutely,' schedule permitting."

Eriq La Salle (Dr. Peter Benton) is also making a comeback to ER.
