Angelina Jolie surprised everyone with her presence last night at the Hollywood Film Festival which was held in Beverly Hills at the Hollywood Awards Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Jolie came up -unexpectedly- on stage and made A-listers gasp! She looked chic in a very simple black dress.
Jolie was there with full force to present Clint Eastwood with the Hollywood Director of the Year Award.

To present Eastwood with the award, Jolie said: "There are some people in this business that are icons, and we often wonder if, when we meet them, they'll live up to what we imagine them to be, and Clint Eastwood in person is even better."

By receiving this ward, Eastwood joins a bunch of other directors who have taken home this award in the past years; Ron Howard, Michael Mann, Sam Mendes, Martin Scorsese and Oliver Stone .

Jolie and Eastwood worked together on their latest movie 'The Changeling'.
