Pat O'Brian has pushed his luck a tad bit too far and has now lost his job! Ouch!
O'Brian has been fired from The Insider after he sent out an e-mail to all his co-workers slamming his co-host Lara Spencer!
After several rehab trips, this e-mail has brought his job as anchor on The Insider to an end!
In this e-mail, O'Brian boasted his own popularity and claims that one of Lara Spencer's segments on the show make the viewers 'want to vomit'!
Gawker has the full text of the e-mail, which says:
"Hi, folks, I just spent a couple of days in Iowa - I’m a little bit of a favorite son there - and I spoke with maybe a thousand people and was very hands-on. Even Joe Biden said, ‘You should be running (for president)!’ But what I came away with was, these people can’t afford gas, books, food or schools or movies!" More after the jump ...
He is right, I have no money for anything. If The Insider were not on basic tv I would not have it on my tv. Pat gave the show a hint of professionalism. This all Lara all the time is too much. The new set is ridiculous and Lara looks so uncomfortable trying to be a model. I used to watch the show but now I am an Access fan.
Yeah, Pat gave credibility to a show that doesn't deserve it.

Pat more than deserved to be fired. No one deserves to be the object of his disgusting comments; however, I do agree with the previous fan's comments. I always like Lara Spencer but now the show is more about looking like a model instead of being informative. The show has lost credability with a lot of my friends because of the changes. And why do other celebrities have negative behavior reported on the show but no mention of Pat's firing (or did I miss it)? This is not the first time he's been in trouble and I have never seen it reported on the show. I don't think that's fair to the other people in the public eye.
The show was way better with Pat! Nothing against Lara, but i'd have seen her leave than him. Good luck to u Pat.
I could not believe that Pat had done all those horrible things. He always seemed so together and professional. Hope he gets it together. As for Lara, the way she trys to be so cute and thinks she really is a good host.
Get real you are not Lara! I hate your manorisms when you try to be serious. You seem to think you are Gods gift to TV. Did your husband move to LA with you or did you get to big for him too?
