Last week i wrote about an Iranian actress that was reported to have been banned from leaving the country after she starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in his latest movie 'Body of Lies'.
Here's on update on her latest news, because it seems those reports were only rumors!
Golshifteh Farahani has left to the US and she went there for a personal visit.
According to a casting director who has worked with Golshifteh Farahani on numerous projects: "These are all rumors and her trip proves these rumors wrong".

It seems in 'Body of Lies' Farahani didn't do anything wrong or against Iranian law. She insisted on wearing the Islamic headscarf or a wig in the film in order to respect Iran's law.
Thus there is no reason for her to be banned from leaving the country.
