Soul singer Isaac Hayes died yesterday at the age of 65.
Hayes was found unresponsive near his treadmill at his home in Memphis. He must have been exercising when his time came.
If you're not familiar with him, then you'll surely be familiar with the South Park character, Chef! Well, Hayes was the baritone-voice of Chef! (Check this out for more info on Isaac Hayes)
Just before his sudden departure, he had finished working on a movie entitled "Soul Men" in which he played himself alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac ... who also passed away on Saturday!
He also was about to start working on a new album for Stax, the soul record label he helped build.
