I’m sure a lot of people were shocked at the news of Morgan Freeman’s accident in Mississippi last weekend. At this time he is still recovering from the surgery he went through for the broken arm and shoulder injury that he acquired. So, I keep thinking, is this the right time to announce that he and his wife Myrna Colley-Lee are getting a divorce?
His business partner and lawyer Bill Luckett made it known that Morgan Freeman and his wife are “involved in divorce action”. He says that this is just formality now because Freeman and his wife have been separated since December 2007. He and Myrna wed in 1984 and have been married for 24 years.

During his car crash last Sunday, Freeman was not alone in the car. He was with Demaris Meyer who also suffered injuries during the crash. Meyer was reported to be “The Dark Knight” actor’s friend. Now, it is unclear whether Meyer has something to do with the ongoing divorce proceedings!
