Morgan Freeman got into a serious car accident a couple of days ago in Mississippi.
He crashed his Nissan Maxima at around 11.30 pm and was rushed by helicopter to a Memphis hospital for immediate medical attention.
He was thought to be in a much critical condition but turns out that after being checked out by the doctors, the final assessment of his injuries are a broken elbow, broken arm, and some shoulder damage. He underwent surgery and is feeling much better now.
His rep said in a very recent statement: "Morgan is doing well after his surgery last night to reconnect nerves and repair damage in his left arm and hand. As of this morning he’s up and walking around and looking forward to his release in a few days."

As for the cause of the accident, it was thought that Freeman fell asleep at the wheel, but now it's being reported that heavy rain was the reason, thus the car skidded on the slick road and flipped multiple times. That was close!
