Were you able to watch the original Beverly Hills 90210? I was. Well not all episodes. But among the characters I definitely remember Shannen Doherty playing the role of Brenda Walsh. She was twin sister to Jason Priestley’s Brandon Walsh character. If you think you’ve seen the last of her I the original 90210 you’re mistaken. Shannen Doherty will be back with the new season of the show. She will be back in the show as a visiting drama teacher who directs a musical at West Beverly High School.

This was announced by the show’s executive producer Gabe Sachs during the Television Critics Association press tour. Shannen’s representative also said that the actress is looking forward to the returning to 90210.

Shannen is not the only original cast who will be returning to the show. Jennie Garth with her role as Kelly Taylor will also be coming back. She’ll be playing counselor at West Beverly. Tori Spelling on the other will be seen in a later episode since she has just given birth in June.

90210 will be aired on September 2nd. Don’t miss it!
