Angelina Jolie's estranged dad, Jon Voight has spoken out about the new editions to the Jolie Pitt family.
The Insider caught up with Voight on the set of 24 and asked him about his two new grandchildren and this is what he said:
"I am deeply happy. I’m over the moon. It’s magnificent. In this world, all we can hope for is that mommy and the kids are healthy. I’m very excited and thanks for letting me send my love to them. If I were called today, I’d be there."
What do you think of this 'estranged' situation between Sngelina Jolie and her dad?
Shouldn't she just let the past be the past and move on?
Shouldn't she just allow the old guy to see and sit with his grandchildren?
I'm usually all for what Jolie does, but this thing with grandpa is a wee bit too much, no?

Angie's Father has hurt her, her brother and her mother, emotionally in the past. It's a mother's instinct to shield your children from hurt. Perhaps Angie doesn't want her children to feel the upset that Jon has caused in her life. I don't blame her one bit. Will it back fire and bite her in the butt when her children get older? Who knows. That is her decision to make.
Angelina Jolie needs to move on! All the hurt SHE has caused to numerous women whose relationships she has broken up and she holds this grudge against her father for leaving her mother???? Hmmmm...I think that is callede double standards! She would be a nobody if she hadn't had her dad's coat tails to ride to the top!
Men who callously cheat on their wives in front of the kids and who dont care if they leave their wives crying on the floor at home because they want to sleep with other women are just as callous when they are old as when they were young.
I know several of these types of people personally. They very much want to be invited to every family event and have all the good times.... but the moment they must make a sacrifice for one of their loved ones, they will flat out tell that person in private: "Tough luck."
Angelina is handling the situation correctly. She's not saying mean things to him nor about him. She just ignores him and she has gone on with her life.
Its not her responsibility to make sure that this man is taken care of emotionally. Its her responsibility to take care of her well-being and her children's well-being. Jon Voight never did that for his kids or his wife.
Her father is an actor! he still uses her to clean his image coz all the world knows that he very much cheated on his family.
few years ago he went on TV and said that Angelina has "serious mental problems"....what changed now? he spreaded rumors that his daughter is crazy!!! so people won't belive what she has to say abt him!!!!!!!! however, she did not say anything but stoped any relationship with him.
If Angelina would let this man even come closer to her family, then, she would be "mentally ill " .

Ms. Jolie cut off her Dad when he told her to get mental help publicly. That was a low thing of him to do, he is a narcissist. and so is she.
Jolie and Pitt are pimpin their babies right and left who cares if it goes to charity they are all an ambitious actor fame-driven two bit jokers!
Jolie didn't stop seeing him when he cheated on her mother. This picture attests.
Like any good narcissist, she cut him off when he gave her a blow to her ego. And he gave her the blow because she didn't suck up to him.
