The town of Tarzana, California made worldwide map as the famous scene of Britney Spears melt-down, remember the head shaving?!
Have you ever wondered how the town got its name? Well, it seems it got it from novelist Edgar Rice Burroughs, creator of the jungle vine-swinging super hero, the ultimate Apeman, Tarzan. Burroughs once owned the area as farmland rich with orange orchards.
It looks like Tarzana has made the quantum leap from apeman to light-being with lively novelist/actor Vanna Bonta sighting there recently.
Is that Evolution?
Audiofile and Library Journal gave the audiobook version of Bonta's novel a thumbs up this month.
Vanna Bonta's performance of her novel is "brilliant" and her voice "enchanting" -- and she looks like she's upgraded "evolved" from paper clips to intriguing fiction femme, red lipstick and all!

Britney's kids live in Tarzana with the x-o and Britney is selling her mansion in Studio City and buying one in Tarzana to be closer to them (even though it's only like 10 miles away). Cool post and history the Post Office has all the old Tarzan comic books and letters form the studios buying Tarzan from ERB.
Eva Longoria lives there. Lisa Kudrow also lives in Tarzana. Jessica Simpson is up the street from Tarzana in another historic town called Calabassas that's all lumped as part of "LA" and not everyone knows about. The K-Fed does golf at the Tarzana country club with Brit's dad . I didn't know where it got its name from TARZAN!

Sounds like a cool town. Literary history. So glad Britney got all the stuff bringing her down out of her life. I love Vanna Bonta. Call me weird but dreams and sparkles are fine by me.
