whitney in morocco

Whitney Houston rocked morocco a couple of weeks ago!
the news of her performance in Morocco was so big that there was a fair amount of skepticism about whether it would actually happen! But it did, and the crowds got a lot more than they were expecting.
As always Whitney’s performance was elegant and enchanting and she managed to do what many stars cannot. She managed to make thousands of Moroccans, who whilst being open minded are very different from Whitney, fall in love with her.

The biggest surprise of the evening was not the performance –for everyone expected greatness- but instead it was when Whitney took a scarf that was wrapped around her neck and put it on her head. This sign of embracing the Islamic culture of Morocco was met with ‘Al Salah Wel Salam Ala Mohammed’ and traditional Moroccan ‘Zaghareed’!
Whitney wasn’t there to pull off a publicity stunt, and to prove this she didn’t talk to any reporters and merely allowed them to take pictures of her first song after which all reporters were asked to leave.

sir,
nothing to do with what you wrote, you should know that moroccan are open mided and they don't cares if she wear or not a 'foulard' scarf -- you have a wrong idea about morocco, any way i wanted to point out this wrong analysis of this news, she wanted to show her respect to the moroccans colture, at the same time none of the people whom assist to the concert was wearing the traditional moroccan wears....
