The expectations were true after all! After all the preparations and activity that happened yesterday at the Simpson Encino home, a marriage did take place!
The Simpson's young daughter, Ashlee and her long time boyfriend Pete Wentz tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at her family's home.
About 150 close friends and family members attended the happy ceremony and as reported, Ashle's big sister, Jessica was her Maid of Honor.
Ashlee and Pete's spokesperson confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE:
"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends."

The young bride wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane.
You won't guess who the ring bearer was? ... Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway! How cute is that?!
As for the wedding cake, it was a yummy one by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings with a top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers on top. Yes! It's something out of Alice in Wonderland thing!
As for the guests, they included Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, as well as actor Donald Faison with girlfriend CaCee Cobb and Pete's band members.
