Tom Cruise celebrates 27 years of movie making this year. It was exactly 25 years ago, that Tom starred in the movie 'Risky Business', which shot him to fame.
On this occasion, and to share this with all his fans around the world, he launched his official website, TomCruise.com
When you enter the site, the first thing you see is a few minutes that round up all his famous roles since 'Taps' in 1981 and 'Risky Business' leading up to 'Lion for Lambs' in 2007. Very interesting footage.
There's also a long message from Tom himself to all his fans. In it he talks about his love of movies, acting in them and watching them. He thanks his fans for all their support throughout the years. Tom also says that he created this site to share his experience with the people and to explore the future of movies with him.

The site has many sections; News, Biography, Filmography and a whole gallery of photos and movie trailers.
The latest in the news section is the video of Tom's interview with Oprah.
As for the biography section, well it's comprehensive. You can read all about Tom's life, not his personal life though, but his career since 1981 till today.
