Vanna Bonta was present at the annual worldwide celebration Yuri's Night.
If you're not familiar with this event, it's held every year in celebration of the anniversary of the space shuttle and first human being in space, Yuri Gagarin.
Vanna was there in her usual vintage moon-era 60s look; an orange dress, complete with white gloves, glowing crystal earrings and even hair lights!
According to Vanna, the fashion of the future is different: "Style of the future is the convergence of function and fashion. Spacewear is the new high of "haute" couture, and intelligent bling is the new haute "hot".
If you ask Vanna when is the right time to start following this new fashion, she'll tell you: immediately!
According to Vanna, the best time to start spacewear of the future is right now on Earth "since we are in space" and urbanwear high style needs to multi-task as well as express and impress.

She even gives an example of this multi-tasking fashion; the Bubble Shoe by designer Aljosa Senk. a transparent shoe composed of two layers of silicon plastic with compressed gas between. The durable, shock and water resistant, thermally insulated shoe can change its look for any occasion, mood, or place with socks!

She doesn't forget to mention, that comfort is also a very important aspect of spacewear.
At that point, Vanna held up a pair of flats and praised them as "sensible shoes" but chided the space loving audience to remember: "When you get there ... you need something to wear" ... at which point the flats ejected heels! The shoe, called an Ever shoe, is Bonta's latest invention, a combination flat that converts to heel with telescoping platform or stiletto high heels!

I guess it's safe to say that Vanna Bonta is a refreshing and fun break from the style-obsessed and vein celebrities that are too busy getting themselves out of trouble and into rehab! No?
