Last night was one heck of a night at the annual CMT Awards.
The purple carpet was studded with stars and the show was full of great performances.
The two singers to come out on top last night were the mostly barefoot Taylor Swift and American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler.
Taylor nabbed the video of the year award and top female award! You Go Girl!
Taylor also performed, sporting a fedora and cowboy boots for the sassy song "Picture to Burn".
She also presented an award to her fellow cowgirl Kellie Pickler, who accepted her award via satellite. Pickler sweeped the awards in all three categories she was in; breakthrough video, performance and tearjerker video!
Other major winners included Sugarland, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes and Bon Jovi, Rascal Flatts, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant.
