It’s a confusing feeling for many Disney fans … there will be a fourth installment of the popular musical, High School Musical … but not all the cast is returning for it!
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have refused to sign on for High School Musical 4 and will not be returning.
The people at Disney have officially announced that there will be a 4th sequel and that maybe not all of the cast will be returning: "We are writing High School Musical 4. Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not. Will we have some of them? I hope so."
The couple and the rest of the cast are currently busy filming scenes for the 3rd installment of the musical and Zac was spotted at JFK the other day as he went on his way to catch a plane to Salt Lake City where the shooting is happening.
Zac has recently returned from England where he was filming the movie 'Me and Orson Welles'.

I cannot believe they arent going to do it! From the begining, Zac said he would do as many HSM's as he could for his fans. I am so disappointed. There is no better cast then the one that we have right now.

good. its time for zac to go on to bigger and better things. he is way to talented to stay in HSM and with disney. cant wait for "Seventeen Again" and "Me and Orson Welles". oh and chelsy, he never said that he will do as many HSM's for his fans. he just said that he has a lot of fun, i know when he and ashley was on MTV, they were asked if they would do it again and they said yes (when they annouced HSM2). you gotta stop some time. keep up all the great work you do zac.

Honestly, their decision is for the better. The people at disney channel are ridiculous for making a fourth movie. They knew that most of the cast would not sign on for it, but they did it anyway. Personally, I will boycott this fourth movie. Good thinking, Zac and Vanessa, I bet the rest of the cast will agree with you.

OMG not another one! The first one was a mistake, The second one was a waste of time. The third one is going to be annoying and the fourth one is going to be absolute tourture.
