Scar-Jo is one brave lady! She's going to go visit the troops in the Persian Gulf!
Scarlett Johansson has taken her decision to fly over to the Middle East and visit the US troops there as part of the USO/Army Morale Welfare Recreation entertainment tour.
This seems to be a very important thing for Scarlett, she says: "This USO tour to the Gulf region truly means a lot. I've wanted to go over and visit for some time, and now my moment has arrived. It's one thing to reply to a letter or extend your thanks to service members in a speech, but it's another thing to visit them and spend time with those that do so much for us back home."
Her trip involves a lot of stuff; visiting numerous military installations, greeting fans, signing autographs and interacting with members of the U.S. armed forces.
Well, Bob Hope did it and so did Marilyn Monroe ... why not Scar-Jo?
I still don't like her ...
