As a follow up to the previous post about Britney Spears converting to Islam ... i thought I'd let me imagination go wild and suppose such a thing will happen ... and review what it really means for a pop icon like Britney to become a Muslim.
When Britney was a kabbalah follower, it didn't do much for her ... let's face it ... the only difference was that red string around her wrist!
But ... becoming a Muslim would mean a drastic change!
If she does -which i highly doubt would ever happen- the first thing that's going to change is her appearance; she might not wear a hijab (head scarf), but she'll have to cover up! No more exposed boobs, thighs or unexpected beaver slips! She'll have to cover up her private parts!
Brit will have to clean up her act ... in more ways than one! No more sexy video clips for one!
She'll have to stop being sexually active with any other man than her husband ... If she likes a guy and would like to hit the sack with ... she'll have to marry him!
Oh! No more alcohol! She'll have to stick to energy drinks at parties ...
What does it mean for Britney Spears to become Muslim?
Now, back to the hijab issue ...
Will Britney become a moderate Muslim; wear ordinary clothes and cover up her body ... maybe put a simple head scarf on? Or will she go on and cover her face with a burga?
Will Britney practice her religion in the privacy of her own home ... or will she go out into the street looking like Darth Vader ... that will sure stop the paparazzi from snapping photos of her!
Maybe then she'll consider moving to Bahrain too ...
Well, one thing's for sure ... if this happens, Brit will loose her remaining fans and will gain a few in the Muslim world ... or will she?

hey guys, being muslim doesn't mean you have to wear this and wear that. its the belief that counts the most. the covering up comes later. obviously she will have to dress in a dignified way, but she doesn't have to cover from head to toe completely. i myself is a muslim (not a terrorist, we muslims don't classify terrorists as humans never mind being muslim, trust me, we true muslims hate terrorists more than the non-believers.). i know some muslim girls who don't cover up from head to toe, but are gentle and decent and also knid and ..........blah blah blah. you get the idea.

You don't have to be covered from head to toe to follow the religion. How many Arab female singers claim to be Muslim, and are on stage half naked shaking their ass?

First of all Haifa or any other singer shouldnt be an idol to other muslims or non-muslims who are thinking of converting. Just because a person does something doesnt mean that it is permissible in Islam.
Also, for the people who are saying belief is the thing that counts; well thats 1 thing that counts but whoever reads the Quran, notices that wherever faith is mentioned in any verse of the Holy Quran, it is always follwed by work and action; these two are never apart. You always read "Those who believe and work reighteousness."
