American Idol stars had the lion's share of awards at the 2007 American Music Awards last night!

Daughtry and his band won favorite breakthrough artist, favorite adult contemporary artist, and favorite pop/rock album for the band 'Daughtry' chart-topping self-titled release.

As for Carrie Underwood, she won favorite country female artist and favorite country album for her debut release "Some Hearts". She also won a special award determined by audience text messages.
The two Idols couldn't believe that the night was on their side!
