Joe Satriani, who is one of rock music's most renowned electric guitarists, will undertake a nine date UK tour starting Monday, 12th of May 2008.
Joe Satriani has been a worldwide guitar hero since his 1986 breakthrough album, 'Surfing with the Alien'. Over 10-million albums and CD's later, in addition to 13 Grammy nominations including this year for his latest studio release 'Super Colossal', Joe continues to push the envelope of modern rock guitar playing.
Satriani is currently ranked as the 7th best electric guitar player in the world.
The UK tour starts at Birmingham Symphony Hall and tickets go on sale starting today, Friday 16th and can be
purchased directly from the concert venues*.
Paul Gilbert will be special guest on most of Satriani's UK concerts.
A new Joe Satriani studio album is expected to be released in 2008 to coincide with the UK tour.
