Britney Spears' mom, Lynne Spears, has told the world that she is ready to take the blame for her daughter's problems.
In an interview with Life & Style Weekly, Lynne says: "I blame myself. I wish I'd been there more while she was touring, but I couldn't be. I had the other kids to look after. I didn't raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches."

Lynne is writing a memoir about raising her family in the public eye, 'Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World' is set for release next May.

Lynne recently reconciled with her daughter Britney Spears after a period of estrangement.
