Crime Scene Investigation is one of my favorite TV shows when I wasn’t so busy with everything yet. Lately I have not had time to watch much TV. But even though it is this way I feel sad to know that one of the main characters Sara Sidle played by Jorja Fox will be leaving the show after the seventh episode this November. Jorja Fox together with co-start George Eads has been in CSI since it debuted on TV back in 2000. The forensics show has never been stronger, so why is she leaving? According to Jorja Fox she wants to explore other opportunities before she gets too old to follow nay of them. Fox is now 39 years old.

Back in 2004 Jorja Fox and George Eads got fired from CSI because they tried to hold out for a bigger salary. However, they were hired back in the show eventually. This time Eads has an extension of his contract…with the expected salary raise we don’t know… Fox on the other hand is another story. Since January Fox and the producers of CSI, CBS Paramount, had been negotiating for a salary increase, but were unable to come to an agreement. Fox contract expired last May, so at this time she’s just wrapping up until the seventh episode.

It is still going to be a little different once her character is gone from the show, although George Eads and the rest of the cast will remain.
