Keifer isn't as sleek as his 24 character Jack Bauer! This time, he couldn't escape his DUI charges and will have to serve about 48 days behind bars!
Kiefer pleaded no contest to a single DUI count yesterday in court, which led to the following court order, he will have to serve 18 days starting December 21st to pay for the fact that his recent DUI bust violated the probation terms of his previous 2004 DUI conviction!
Not only that, but in July, Kiefer must also serve another 30 days in the slammer and he has to complete an 18-month alcohol-education program and get therapy.
Keifer couldn't keep silent about this and released a statement:
"I'm very disappointed in myself for the poor judgment I exhibited. I'm deeply sorry for the disappointment and distress this has caused my family, friends and co-workers on 24 and at 20th Century Fox."

Well, in the past couple of years, DUI charges and rehab stints have become a trend in Hollywood ... why is this happening? Those people, the ones that make movies come to life and make series worth watching are role models to many young people out there ... they should control themselves and show their good side.
They should play a bigger role in educating the youth about the dangers of drunk driving, too much alcohol and drugs!
Simply, those three things can kill you and eventually will!
