Loads of celebrities went to Israel to celebrate the Jewish new year there ... so, it wasn't much of a surprise seeing Madonna there too. She's like a 'big kahuna' when it comes to Kabbalah!
But, it was shocker when i heard that she announced herself an ambassador for Judaism to the world ... especially when she isn't Jewish!!
Madonna & her hubby Guy Richie went to Israel to attend a Kabbalah conference on the occasion of the Jewish new year. There she relaxed, attended the conference & made her dream come true; she celebrated the Jewish new year with President Shimon Perez!

During the visit, she announced that she is like an ambassador for Judaism ... this drove the Othodox Jews mad! They should be!
Rabbis revealed their disgust by Madonna & anger that she or any other celebrity would delve into the sacred & mystical elements of the Kabbalah.
They even say it's forbidden to teach Kabbala to non-Jews!

One Rabbi said: "It is a known fact in Kabbalah that impurity and evil are inherently attracted to sanctity. That's why people of Hollywood, a place of iniquity and lasciviousness, are naturally attracted to the holiness of Kabbala."

Other celebrities who taveled to attend the Kabbalah conference were Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher, Rosie O'Donnell & Donna Karan.
