It was silly, wasn't it? Two grown up men getting at each other in the middle of an important event like MTV's Video Music Awards & while Alicia Keys was performing on stage! Silly!
But Tommy Lee has taken it upon himself to explain what really happened & apologize to Alicia Keys.
Tommy wrote a load of stuff on his website ... he says:
"I apologize sweetie... I had nothing to do with the timing and disrespect. Here I am minding my own biz having a great time with my friend Criss Angel and watching the MTV awards in the front row saying hello to all my friends..."

"... Pamela comes and sits on my lap who I love and adore. And also say hello to my friend Travis Barker and his wife!... and i get a text from another friend P. Diddy and he says come sit with me... and he's sitting with Miss HOT Megan FOX so I go over and sit with P!"

Tommy then clarifies that as he was sitting with P. Diddy, he gets a tap on the shoulder from the man he affectionately referred to as 'Kid Pebble'.
He continues to say: "I stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say 'Hey dude... What up'?? He punches me in the face... well if ya wanna call it that!?... more like a b---h slap!... Wuss!"

All in all, it's just totally disrespectful & stupid what happened!
I really think 'Kid Pebble' should be convicted for this BS! If he is, he faces $500 fine -which is not much-, but also about 6 months in jail!
