Scarlett Johansson has got about 30 movies in her file ... 'Brilliance' will add 1 more to that number.
Director Samuel Bayer, who directed the clip of Justin Timberlake's 'What goes around ...', has chosen Scarlett for his feature length debut, which is about a bunch of jewel thieves.
Bayer chose Scarlett for 'Brilliance' because of her obvious sex appeal & talent.
Bayer tells MTV: "Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around... she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won't catch ...

... She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she's crying. It was just unbelievable. It's stuff like that which makes you know someone's a star."

The movie will start shooting this winter & is set for a late 2008 / early 2009 release.
