Dark Shadows is a dream come true for Depp! He revealed in a few interviews in the past, that as a kid, he wished he could be Barnabas Collins from the vampiric soap opera Dark Shadows!

Depp sealed a deal with Graham King’s GK Films to develop a feature based on the cult series.
Dark Shadows was a series that ran from 1966 to 1971. It featured all creepy Halloween characters; monsters, witches, zombies, a pack of werewolves and most importantly, vampires!
