Supernatural star Jared Padalecki is planning for his future after Supernatural ... you know, it barely made it to the third season ... so, he has to see where he'll be going after it!
Jared got an offer ... to play famous Christmas artist Thomas Kinkade in a trio of films. He will portray the painter in reminiscences of real life events that inspired particular pieces of art from the Kinkade collection.
Jared is super cute ...& a Christmas movie might be just what he needs to launch a good movie career.

Jared was born on July 19, 1982 in Texas.
He started off as Dean Forester on the Gilmore Girls. This led to other projects like Close To Home, Silent Witness, A Ring of Endless Light and Young MacGyver.
But his movie break was playing a role in House of Wax ... which unfortuantly came out to be a flop ... so that didn't help him much!
He now plays Sam Winchester, one of the lead characters on the series Supernatural.
Do you like Jared Padalecki? Do you think he's real Hollywood material?
I love Jared! He's a great actor and a wonderful person.
Of course he's Hollywood material, but he needs to be free from Supernatural to really find his way.
Especially now that the network and the producers of the show ruined everything and transformed Supernatural in a teeny bopper show.
Jared needs to grow a real fanbase and get away from the crazy fangirls of Supernatural.
That's why I hope Supernatural will be over soon. I can't wait to see him in some very good movies, he's very talented and he deserves to be really famous and appreciated.
It would be great to see him in a movie with Ackles, that would rock!
Jared has really grown as an actor from his Gilmore Girls days, and I am super excited to see him on the big screen. I enjoy his character Sam on Supernatural and seeing him become more comfortable in that role. However, I honestly believe he will be quite successful as a big screen actor. I can't wait to see this movie!
Great guy! Padalecki is one of the best celebrities I've ever met.
He's cool, funny and very down to earth.
I'm glad he's working on a tv show, but I have to agree with that first post, he needs to break free and make his moves in the movie business.
I'm not a big fan of his tv show, I liked the first season but then it got bad.
Too many love stories and crying and too little action and urban legends.

Supernatural isn't perfect, but its likely to be a damn site better than a bunch of vanity films about an overly commercialized, collectorific painter like Kinkade. That said, I think it might turn out to be a decent Christmas movie. I will just wait and see. A super-sized version of the giant-sized Padalecki will probably give me heart seizures. He's that beautiful. I'm glad he got a lead role in a film, anyway.
I'm a Supernatural fan and I want that show to succeed. I think its letting him mature his natural abilities as an actor and I love him as Sam Winchester. And his chemistry with Jensen Ackles is unbeatable. You can't buy chemistry like that, you really can't.
From everything I've read and seen about Jared, he is kind, sweet, polite, highly considerate of fans of all ages, and fun to be around. I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes and whatever he does.
Jared is hot, along with his co star Jensen Ackles! and I love Supernatural! One of my favourite shows along with Prison Break!
