Today, Evangeline Lilly turns 28! Yepee!
Lilly went through a lot during her life ... both good & bad, just like the rest of us.
She did a lot of travelling after graduating from high-school, moving from town to town approximately every six months, taking on different personas in each town!
Lilly served briefly as a foreign missionary and lived in a grass hut in the Philippines at the age of 18!
She also worked as a flight attendant before starting her job on 'Lost'.

Lilly got married in 2003 to Hokey player Murray Hone, but things didn't work & they got divorced in 2005. She's now dating co-star Dominic Monaghan.
Lilly's house in Kailua, Hawaii, got burnt to the gound on the final day of shooting the second season of 'Lost', before the show’s holiday break. The cause was an electrical fault.
Lilly lost all her possessions, but she didn't mind! She said: "It was a really liberating and exciting thing to happen. All that I lost were the things inside. I've always believed things are more of a chain than a vehicle. To not be tied down to anything was a great feeling. I was at work and I was like, 'So I've got the clothes on my back, my wallet and my car and that's everything I have in the world.' It was like I was 20 again and the world was my oyster and I could go anywhere, do anything and be free."
