Nolte was at the Kauai Airport in Hawaii waiting for his flight, when it got delayed because of engine problems ... he surprised fellow passangers with his friendly, yet incoherant actions!
He struggled to keep his eyes open, passed out o the terminal floor & drifted in and out of consciousness for about two hours!

Yet ... Nolte chatted with fans and allowed passengers to take photos of him!

Was he drunk? Was he on some sort of medicine? Was he ... high on something?
