The day before yesterday, 1st of July, was the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death and her sons William and Harry held a concert in her honor. Elton John opened the concert in Wembley Stadium, London. Unfortunately the excitement about the concert was greatly tuned down after the attack on Glasgow airport, but Prince's William and Harry insisted that the show must go on. The sons gathered a great number of Pop musicians including Rod Stewart and Duran Duran in a show that went on for six continuous hours and was broadcast in 145 countries and watched by 500 million people!
Concert in Honor of Princess Diana!
Prince Harry, the youngest of the brothers, gave the sign for the beginning of the concert which was an exclaiming of ‘Hello Wembley’, referring to Wembley Stadium the home of the concert which held around 63,000 people.
According to Prince William this event was an embodiment of all that his mother loved ... music, dance, charity organisations, family and friends!
In my opinion this was an excellent way of honoring such a great woman ... Kudos to her sons!
