Paris Hilton was released from jail this morning ... not only was her family waiting outside, but there were swarms of paparazzi on the prowl as well!
Paris walked out of the Lynwood facility in black jeans & a gold blouse with white trim over a white shirt ... she was also wearing a big smile!
She served her sentence but isn't totally free ... she's still under probation until March 2009!
But ... yes, there's a but ... Paris can reduce that time by 12 months if she does community service that could include a public-service announcement.
