As sequels go, it was quite enjoyable. The story line goes as follows; The enigmatic, intergalactic herald, the Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. As he races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost.

I am no special effects buff but I did think they were great as well as the action, they do make up for the predictable one-liners and the moral lessons having to be learnt by the heroic four, namely Johnny who had to face up to the fact that the world does not revolve around him. The pleasing thing about the movie is that it can be watched by all ages.

The only thing I could not stomach was Jessica Alba's wig and the even more hideous blue fake lenses she was endowed with. They detracted from her beauty and made her look like a vampire not the more human Sue Storm. Ah yes add to that the horrible dancing performed by Reed Richards during his bachelor party!!!
