One of the hottest events in Hollywood occurred on Friday night: 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards! Of course the first thing people wanted to see was what everyone would be wearing on the red carpet and believe me there were some eye catchers. Tyra Banks would win the ‘Biggest Gown Award’ if one existed, her dress was so big she had to carry it all the way down the red carpet. Chandra Wilson looked spectacular in Pink but all eyes were on Ellen De Generes who came escorted by girlfriend Portia de Rossi.

Ellen went home with her fourth Outstanding Talk Show award and her third for Outstanding Talk Show Host award. However, Ellen made a point of telling everyone she ‘liked what [Rosie] did’ this year and that ‘This was the year she should have won’. Rosie did not attend the Emmy Awards ceremony although the three remaining women of ‘The View’ did. Ellen also told reporters, ‘I don't know who should replace [Rosie] but I don't think it should be Paris Hilton. That would not work.’ And frankly Ellen, I agree.
