Hey! Fireman's Fund Insurance! Take your law suit back! You Can't sue Robert De Niro!
Back in 2003, when Robert De Niro was diagnosed with prostate cancer ... that wasn't the only bad surprise he got ... he got sued by Fireman's Fund Insurance as well!
You might ask why? ... the answer is easy ... they're scum-balls !!!
No really, Fireman's Fund filed a law suit against Bobby for costing them about $1.8 million after the shooting of 'Hide & Seek' was delayed for 60 days because he had to go through treatment for his illness.
So, in not so many words, they sued him because he got cancer!

Here's the thing, TMZ reports that after being diagnosed, 'Bobby was days away from starting work on the film 'Hide and Seek'. Because of De Niro's diagnosis and subsequent treatment for his illness, he was unavailable to start working on the movie as scheduled, and shooting was held up almost 60 days.
Due to this delay, Fireman's Fund, the insurance carrier on the film, paid over $1.8 million to reimburse the studio for its lost costs. In October of 2006, Fireman's Fund filed suit against De Niro, claiming he misrepresented the state of his health on a medical certificate they issued him for the film.'

Robert De Niro filed a motion against Fireman's Fund & is asking the court to immediately dismiss the lawsuit against him.
