This is just out of the blue! Just yesterday, i read an article saying that Jessica's dad, Joe, gave an ok for John Mayer & has blessed the relationship! How come the reports today are that they have parted ways?!
News -today- is that Jessica & John have split up & that she's happy like that.
Jessica arrived at Cannes yesterday & was asked about how she felt, she replied: "I am very happy, but I don't really want to talk about my personal life tonight because it's not what it's about. But I am very happy. I will let you know that."

Reports have it that the couple were having a few problems in the past few weeks & have decided that the best would be to go their separate ways.
I guess Dad Joe's blessing didn't do good for the relationship ... it reversed the whole thing!
